The first time we came to Greece was about 30 years ago. In the beginning, we came only once a year for a holiday, later on 2–3 times a year. We love the beautiful environment near Kanalaki, the beautiful beaches, the people who live there, the Greek food, the Greek weather – everything. In 2010, we rented a flat permanently for 10 years and came more often to Greece. From that time on, we were searching for ground to build a house. In 2019, we found a perfect ground in Valanidorachi and bought it. We were in contact with Christiane and Peter and knew their wonderful house in Tsouknida. They told us that Dimitris Donis organized the building of the house, and so we spoke with Dimitris about the plan of our project in Valanidorachi. He had many good ideas and was very helpful to realize our dream. Also, he has contact with the best workers to make a serious and perfect work for local circumstances. So in total, the quality of the building is the best that one can get! During the building period, he was always a very good supervisor, and there was no problem that he couldn't solve. Katerina's support in the office was also invaluable. Thank you very very much for your work, Dimitris!
