For Third Countries residents

According to the new law 4146/18-06-2013, residence permits are granted for five years to citizens of third countries if they purchase or lease property with a minimum price set at €250,000. This permit is also granted to their family members and support staff if they are individuals with special needs. It can be renewed for the same duration as long as the real estate remains in their ownership, possession, and control.

1. Issuance of VAT number (Tax Identification Number) from the competent tax office.
2. Opening an account in a Greek bank.
3. Selection of a translator for the accurate translation of the final contract.
4. Assignment of the annual tax declaration of the client/buyer to an accountant.
