Property Purchase Contract Expenses

 

 

  • Property Transfer Tax: A transfer tax of 3% is set on the declared value of the contract.
  • Lawyer's Fee: This is determined by agreement to conduct the legal review of the property. For their presence in the purchase contract, the percentage ranges from 1% to 1.5% plus VAT. The lawyer's presence in the contract is no longer mandatory, but their participation is necessary to ensure the protection of both the buyer and the seller of the property.
  • Notary's Fee: This is established based on the amount of the contract.
  • Real Estate Agent's Fee: This is set at a specific percentage of 2% plus the applicable legal VAT on the sale price of the property.
  • Registration Fee at the Land Registry: The registration fee is 0.475% of the price plus VAT.
